You won’t find what you’re looking for … in your phone

I knew it was only a matter of time before an additional Bono superpower was discovered and disseminated throughout the world. (Previously revealed powers include making starvation disappear, crafting masterful lyrics out of thin air and doing my own laundry.

As Johnny Borrell from Razorlight explained, when I end a cell phone call, the person on the other end has their entire call history — including my number — erased. To me, this is perfectly logical. If my number were to ever get out, the calls would never stop. It would be, “Hi Bono, I’m your biggest fan in the whole universe,” and, “Bono, just speak a single syllable to me and I will die a happy man,” or some pathetic schmuck in Africa saying, “Bono, help me, I have AIDS.” Well, ladies and gentlemen, Bono is a very important man. Right after posting this I’m going to meet with the United Nations Secretary General in Switzerland, just to shoot the shit. I don’t have time to hear your praises, accolades, compliments, flattery, or even fawning.

You might be wondering how I even figured out how to erase peoples’ call histories. That, my devoted fans, is a power for another day.

    Interesting power……

Very important man ? So what ? This is none of my concern. No matter who you are, you are just a human. We all will turn to dust in the end. Perhaps after 1000 years (If humans still exist on Earth), you are names, images, or a figure on the books, DVDs, or other storage devices.

Do what you are doing with accordance to what God gives you. Mother Teresa said, “Not all of us will doing great things, but we can doing things, even small things, with great love.” Yeah, you maybe a savior in the eyes of poor, sick or starved, sorry, you are just a human in God’s eye.

In front of His throne, we are all the same. Do your job, complete your mission in your life, and rest.

Come on Mark, you should understand Bono a bit more! For eg. what would you do, if you would have Angelina Jolie’s phone number (Are you the 1 among the 1000000 man, who doesn’t fancy her? Imagine the one you do instead..).
Unfortunately this world is a bit sick, I mean, the people in it. The thing makes their ego big, if they can “touch the untouchable”.
You can understand, that the well known peolpe, who would like to stay ordinary people as well, having their own life (not to sell it for money), must find the boundaries between friendlyness, and stupidity. I bet it is a very difficult thing to do, and gives a lot of pressure on these people. So no-one should wonder, if the stars sometimes fed up with this situation.

Bono, you should understand Mark a bit more! As I was reading your lines, I became a bit disappointed. Probably Mark felt that attitude behind your words, what I did, this is why he written his comment.
I think sometimes the way you act, and the things you believe, or say are not overlapping each other, morover, sometimes they are absolutely contradicting to each other!
I would not mind it at all. But to tell you the truth, I just think to myself:
Where is this guy going? What is he doing? Is he trying to save the world, because he still couldn’t find the shelter in himself?
Once I was one of the biggest fan of yours, but I grown up since. Everyone has to find the peace inside first to be able to create order from the mess outside.

“I’m no zoologist, but if our women won’t need us anymore, than they won’t need love songs, right? What will be the point of pop music at all?” - you said..

    Who are you Bono?
Musician? Singer? Superman? Saver of the world? Bono?

You answeed to Mickha Assayas in Your book for one of his question, that when it appeared on the horizon, the U2 could go bankrupt, Ali (your wife) answered, which has the following meaning:
what would happen then? Nothing. We will just live like ordinary people, like your friends.
When I read that line, I believed she is enlightened!

    So who are you Bono?
What do you think it is, which makes you to be the person you believe you are?
Can you imagine yourself without all the formality, what you achieved in this life?

If you could, you would be closer to your inner peace, and to that point, when you wouldn’t become worried for the thought- “nobody needs me anymore”.

There is this fortune teller story before you were born, that on your parents’s holiday a fortune teller said, that their second child will be very famous, whatever happens..
My question would have been instead of your mother for that:
    - But will he be happy?

There is no answer for this.
It is not up to Life, it is up to you only.

    Wish you the best!

You people are absolutely without a doubt ignorant if you think this is Bono’s actual blogs or words. This site is nothing more than a bunch of crap wrote by someone with no life at all. Really now..dont you have anything better to do than try to make Bono look bad?? Pathetic! And maybe just jealous?? LMAO
